We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for Senior Manager – Indirect Channel within Enterprise Business Unit. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.
Detailed Description
The role report to the Head of Department – Enterprise & Channels the role holder will formulate and ensure execution of the go to market strategy and indirect channel development plans. Allocate resources to ensure execution of partners and channels road map. Align the sales team on the go to market plan and channel development and management plans. To manage, develop, motivate and coach the team to ensure high productivity.
Roles and Responsibilities
Formulate the go to market and acquisition plans through the dealers, partners & agencies.
Develop high level sales strategies necessary to deliver the partners and channels agreed sales objectives.
Develop an audit plan and tools to assess sales opportunities in the market.
Manage the selection, growth, development, performance, motivation and recommend the reward of the team and support staff.
Mentor, coach and lead the team to enable them to realize their full potential. Clear development plans for each manager.
Review performance of the channels on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and ensure adherence to the use of agreed tools, processes and standards.
Manage alignment of all territory sales team to the partners and channels approved roadmap.
Manage execution of DOSA and ensure retention of high performing dealers and partners and termination of non-performers.
Proactively attend to all channel/SME customers related issues, ensure consistent quality of service provided, and get an excellent customer rating.

Reports that facilitate accurate business decision making process and planning.
QUALIFICATIONS
B-com degree or equivalent from recognized university.
5 years’ experience in sales management managing either indirect channels or a mix of direct and indirect, 3 of which must be in a management position with people management roles.
Experience in managing indirect channels in a telecoms environment is an added advantage
