Team Member-Cashier

Purpose Statement
Be our main point of contact for both our walk-in and online customers while providing excellent customer service. Be always friendly and polite to customers by providing positive customer experience. 
Position Description
Main Outputs and Responsibilities for This Position

Greet customers with a smile and take the customer’s order, thank, and invite them back when they are leaving.
Provide menu options to the customer while upselling.
Processing both online and cash orders correctly into the system, issue receipts and ensure correct Change is given to the customer.
Answer customer queries about the menu.
Clear the table after customer is done eating.
Ensure that customers are given the correct order and in a timely manner.
Adhere to the companies’ uniform & customer service policy.
Be always friendly and polite to customers by providing positive customer experience.
Making sure the FOH is always neat & clean.
Keeping the counter and front equipment clean.
Keeping the display fridge clean and filled at all times according to the brands planogram.
Ensuring take away and online orders are correctly packed with all necessary condiments and dispatched to the rightful customers.
Maintain confidentiality regarding recipes, Sales and any financial policies and not to discuss them with non-company associates.
Performing stock issues and audits during opening, ongoing and at closing of every shift.

Job Evaluation Criteria
Formal Education
Diploma/certificate in a hospitality and tourism management/food production.
 Experience
Minimum of 1-year relevant working experience
