Purpose of the job

Responsible for supervision of the provision of operational and support services to the Department.

Tasks and outputs:

Making proposals on the Section’s Work Plan and budgets.
Compile Departmental Performance Contract and Work Plan.
Compile the Department’s compliance with agreed systems, procedures & performance targets.
Development of the Divisional/Unit’s Performance Contract and Work Plan.
Evaluation and reporting on the Departmental Performance Contract in the key functions.
Planning and executing Departmental budget and Annual Procurement Plan.
Overseeing inventory needs and management and administration needs in the Department.
Supervise all support services related issues.

 
Skills required:
Minimum qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences.
Computer literate.
Membership to a professional body.
Management courses.

Minimum years of experience

4 years post qualification relevant working experience, 1 year of which should be in an Executive Office or a similar busy environment.
