About the Role
Advanta is seeking a well-rounded and skilled Business Analyst who will be responsible for the implementation and support of business analytics across the Africa & Middle East region.This is an exceptional individual with a proven track record of delivering results and is comfortable working collaboratively across a diverse team and is adaptable to a very dynamic and fast paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Providing analytical support to the region through market surveys, analysis of data and presenting the same in required formats.
Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
Working on Long Range Plans in liaison with key stakeholders across the organization
Providing pricing analysis in coordination with the Commercial team and the finance function
Help in the preparations of budgets in coordination with Finance Lead and functional Leads
Working closely with the commercial team to collate market information, analyse market trends and present these in agreed upon formats
Sales tracking against sales plan and presenting these to the team in agreed format and frequency
Prepare Presentations for recurring organization meetings eg monthly S&OP and other ad hoc meetings
Put together agenda, minutes and action plans for all meetings and ensuring follow up of
actions arising from such meetings
Provide support to various other reporting requirements as required by A&ME/Global office
Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing insightful reports.
Managing projects, developing project plans, and helping in monitoring performance.
Create structure and uniformity on data and templates.
Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.
Any other responsibilities as per the business requirements of the A&ME region
Qualifications & Experience
A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
Project management skills and the ability to multi-task to deliver deadlines
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
Excellent documentation/cataloguing skills.
Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and with others
Ability work with new tools and systems
Working knowledge of SAP
