Inbound Sales Consultant

A Bit About The Role

The role is based in the FinTech hub of Africa – Nairobi, Kenya. As their Inbound Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for inbound sales primarily; selling products and solutions (via telephone, web, or email) to specified customer segments and converting sales leads to active merchants utilising the business’s platform. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within an expanding Group across Africa and the Middle East. It will utilize your sales experience, whilst scaling your career into advance sales and/or leadership within FinTech and the broader financial sector.

Requirements

Your mission:

Facilitate sales of the business’s solution according to client requirements
Merchant acquisition – convert enquiries into Closed Wons
Attend to walk-in clients looking to become merchants
Logging enquiries and merchants’ information on CRM
Having a full understanding of and consistently demonstrating the proficiency at explaining all products and services to existing and prospective customers
Help develop client relationships and retain existing accounts
Sending daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required by the management
Train, coach and supervise co-workers across the Sales Division on inbound sales techniques
Work with other departments and divisions, as necessary, to resolve customer issues and grow referrals to the sales team
Following up and conversion of assigned sales leads
Perform any other duties assigned by the management & capacity to travel to support regional sales events & campaigns

A Bit About You

Excellent communication, written skills & online meeting & telesales etiquette. Detail oriented and great teamwork capabilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Experience with a CRM and Support Desk system
Multi-tasking skills with the ability to handle multiple communication media simultaneously, including phone, email, zoom, skype, teams and social media
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural & high energy sales environment
Good time management skills
The motivation to work without supervision
The ability to work under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines
Ability to adapt and respond to change
Has a commitment to teamwork and cultural sensitivity
A hands-on attitude with flexibility to work according to sales cycles & schedules, including weekends and holidays
Has the ability to engage with clients and seek to understand their needs while actively sharing options using plain language, building rapport and handling objections
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in inbound sales within the financial, travel & hospitality or FMCG industry
Degree/Diploma in any Business-related field
