Job Details

Receive inquiries for projects’ submittals through the sales team or directly from customers; review those inquiries and prepare necessary studies and documents needed.
Lead the PV Solution Design and onsite project commissioning and support.
Understand and develop the PV Solution market in East Africa.
Identify and evaluate EPCs in the region where we can co-venture to provide PV solutions.
Generate techno-commercial simulation reports to find the optimum solutions for PV Systems and ROI/breakeven calculations.
Coordinate with partner EPCs to do site surveys and get the information required for the projects.
Conduct seminars/webinars to clients and employees as and when required.
Assist the engineers in other countries with their technical queries and clarification of information from distributors and customers.
Responsible for solution design for commercial/utility-scale projects for PV solutions.
Assist Solar Team in all technical requirements of other countries as directed or required.
Coordinate with our manufactures to ensure the certification complies with local authorities and assist in the product approval/testing compliance.
Assist Marketing Dept. on strategy and promotions, provide market information for product development.
Technical Sales Support to the sales team.

The Successful Applicant:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Mechanical or Renewable Energy
Minimum of 5 years Solar Sales experience
Able to perform project layouts and simulations as needed
Knowledgeable in Photovoltaic systems, Off-grid, On-grid, and Hybrid Solar systems.
Familiar with solar energy regulations in East Africa
