Business Development Executive

JOB PURPOSE
Develop awareness and initial interests on Delsco’s two sets of service products, namely Performance Solutions and Outsourcing, in markets across all industries.  
RESPONSIBILITIES

Growth of active number of potential clients in the pool.
 Growth of number of appointments to present the Delsco service products

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Generate and maintain records of potential clients list – HRMs, CEOs and Executive Directors.
Contact the prospects and arrange presentations by Delsco management.
Participate in the presentations to learn the presentation process, key selling points of the company and the service products with the aim of developing capabilities to present the same.
Present daily reports by 6 pm of each day to present:
­ New prospects added in the day and total in the pool
­ List of prospects contacted in the day with respective responses.
 Appointments secured in the day. if any and in the week to-date with scheduled dates. Avoid and/or mitigate conflict of appointments.
 Initiate purposeful learning, seeking mentorships where necessary to optimize performance capabilities.

 
AUTHORITIES (Decision ownerships)

Daily & weekly activities planning & execution to achieve the responsibilities in a cost-effective manner.
Methods used provided within the confines of professional ethics, legal within the laws of the republic of Kenya, not compromising Delsco’s image and deemed cost-effective

QUALIFICATIONS

University degree from a reputable institution
Sales training and/or experience
Customer service training
IT training – at minimum Microsoft Office desktop applications.
Training on online marketing & content creation

SKILLS

Communication, especially negotiation and managing roadblocks, cold-shoulders and rejections.
Phone etiquette
Sales prospecting to identify, define and engage potential clients.
Professional level application of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint in producing reports.
Report writing
Presentation
Social media marketing

REMUNERATION:
A small retainer with progressive commission structure. Highly commission based
