ICT Technician / Media Officer

Overall Responsibility
Responsible for providing Audio-Visual Services for all church functions, systems maintenance, database, and network administration, and offering leadership and guidance to the media team.
Core Performance Areas

Be available during church functions using audio-visual services
Analyze the system needs of the organization, recommend priorities, system design, and implementation of information and hardware systems.
Administer data backup system and procedures for data restoration as required.
Website management
Design and administer antivirus protection procedures
Support, manage and administer contracts for software and application services and products within the church.
Ensure compliance with software licensing requirements
Identify and recommend cost-effective IT Solutions for the church
Provide desktop support for users
Ensure Audio-visual equipment are well maintained for uninterrupted provision of audio/visual support
Work closely with choirs and praise and worship to ensure worship services honour and glorify God in regard to projection and sound
Any other duties assigned from time to time

Knowledge Skills
A holder of this office must possess the following minimum requirements:

Degree in Business Information Technology from a recognized institution.
Knowledge of broadcasting and media practice is an added advantage
KCSE Mean Grade C
Working experience of not less than two years in a similar position.
Proficiency in database programming and software installation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A demonstrated Christian faith commitment
