St. Ruth School is located in Kentmere Area, Limuru. We offer Montessori Kindergarten and Primary School teaching in both the Kenyan and British systems. If you are a dynamic, inspired and qualified teacher, we would like you to join our team.

ICT teacher
Job Responsibilities
Acquiring appropriate teaching materials and resources.
Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom.
Motivating children and encouraging progress.
Communicates with parents through conferences and other means to discuss students progress and interpret the school program.
Ensuring up-to-date knowledge and awareness of examination requirements.
Assessing pupils’ abilities, providing feedback and writing reports.
Uses a variety of instruction strategies, such as inquiry, group discussion, lecture, discovery to implement the curriculum effectively.
Creates an effective environment for learning through functional and attractive display, bulletin boards and interest centers.
Participate in curriculum development programs as required.
Key Qualifications and Experience
Diploma/Degree in Education/ECDE or equivalent qualification.
Registered with TSC
At least 2 years teaching experience
A Certificate in Computer proficiency
Should have good communication skills with both children and adults
Should be able to meet deadlines and targets
A self motivated and energetic person.
Able to motivate children to learn and participate.
Have patience and a love for children.
