Job Description
To engage various bank channels in a bid to grow banc assurance business both on top line, bottom line and maintain acceptable loss ratios.
Responsibilities
Establish relationships with Banks with the objective of meeting production goals.
Acquire and retain profitable business in line with acceptable loss ratios
Every quarter open up at least two new banks/Financial institutions and obtain business.
Follow up on monthly renewal and new business.
Run with specific budgets per month which eventually adds up annually.
Implement intermediary training plan on UAP products.
Implement loyalty programme for banks.
Monitor bank premium performance in line with set out targets, develop call back plans.
Keep updated on various aspects of the business- from claims, underwriting and finance.
Provide quotations as and when required by intermediaries within set out time frames.
Prepare monthly reports on production, claims and credit control.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information

Assertiveness
Strong analytical skills
Technical competence/knowledge in underwriting and claims.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a business related course.
ACII qualifications
2 years experience in a busy Insurance environment.
Experience in banc assurance is an added advantage
