JOB REF: PPRA/GM/2/2021
Reporting to the Director General, the job holder will be responsible for realization of the Authority’s strategic goals and objectives in the implementation of the PPADA,2015 and its Regulations of 2016 by providing leadership and direction to the technical services directorate through coordinating of various functions including legal and regulatory compliance in procurement law, investigations, enforcement,monitoring and evaluation, research, advisory services, stakeholder’s management and quality assurance.
Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: –
Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement / Supply Chain Management, Commerce,Business Administration, Economics, Finance or any other relevant degree from a recognized institution;
Master’s Degree in Procurement / Supply Chain Management, Commerce,Business Administration, Economics, Finance or any other relevant field from a recognized institution;
Professional Diploma in Supply Chain Management;
Membership of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management or other recognized procurement professional body;
At least Twelve (12) years relevant experience Seven (7) years of which should have been in the level of management;
Leadership course of at least 4weeks from a recognized institution;
Proficiency in computer applications;
Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results; and
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
