Finance Manager

Job Details

Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Cost Allocation, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
Support the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
Coordinate preparation for all audits
Lead on technical accounting issues for compliance
Lead month-end and year-end close process
Treasury and cash flows and support in management of investments
Ensure quality control and value for money on financial transactions
Manage and comply with local and government reporting requirements and tax filings in accordance to Kenya’s finance bill
Effective management and utilization of all financial systems
Manage company budgeting and planning processes
Provide management constant visibility on P&L and key financial metrics
Audit of internal controls

Skills and Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in finance, accounting, business or related field; Master’s degree preferred
Certified Public Accountant (K) or equivalent
Must have 5 years and above experience managing finances and accounting, including at least 3 years in a senior management position.
 Able to lead a team managing multiple and often simultaneous tasks and create a work environment recognized for high level of organization, timeliness, cost-effectiveness, accuracy, and results
 Extremely high attention to detail and continuous striving for 100% accuracy
High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
Exceptional proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
