Job Description/Requirements
You will:
Design, develop, deploy and maintain new business intelligence solutions
Consult with the business to ensure that the data warehouse meets evolving business requirements
Build ETL and ELT pipelines to migrate data from internal and external sources
Translate business needs into technical solutions and specifications
Gather requirements, design/deliver reporting and automation solutions
Develop a data environment that facilitates accurate and consistent reporting
Monitor, troubleshoot and debug BI solutions
Respond to and resolve issues that impact data quality
Upgrade client BI environments. i.e. OBIEE 11g to OBIEE 12c & ODI 11g to ODI 12c and perform UAT
Requirements
3-5 years ETL, Data Warehousing, and/or Business Intelligence experience
Expert knowledge of relational databases, flat files and non-relational database structures
Strong knowledge of data warehousing and ETL concepts using tools such as ODI, informatica, SSIS
Experience with the T-SQL scripting/programming language, including the ability to develop, test, and debug ad-hoc queries, stored procedures, and data migration scripts
Experience creating OBIEE reports and dashboards
Extensive knowledge creating reports and transformations within OBIEE 11g / OBIEE 12c and rpd modelling
Designing, developing, and deploying BI solutions using Oracle BI technologies including Oracle database, OBIEE, Oracle DBMS_Scheduler, Oracle DB link
Hands-on experience of BI Platforms such as QlikSense, Tableau, PowerBI, Spotfire or similar Nice to have:
Experience in a dealing with E-Business Suite database tables and queries, would be an advantage
