Research Assistant, Qualitative Gender Research- ICRISAT

Under the guidance of scientists, this role is an implementation role: implementing Qualitative Gender Research in ICRISAT ESA region including:

Managing partnerships with the national implementing partners and other collaborators involved in qualitative gender research,
Literature review on qualitative research state of the art publications in the relevant sectors,
monitoring of qualitative field activities and their implementation,
planning and executing qualitative data collection in the field,
collating and organizing qualitative data for analysis as well as analysis implementation,
In consultation with the team leader, drafting of reports based on qualitative data compilations and
Any other assignments that the team leader or the Regional Director may assign from time to time.

Requirements

Masters in Anthropology, social science.
1-year experience in a similar role.
Skills in sociology, anthropology, research methods, gender theory. Competencies in field work implementation, field tools design, data collection, field data management, reports compilation.
