Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities of all Technicians

Providing technical support to the trainers and trainees.
Maintaining workshop inventories by receiving, issuing tools and materials in the workshop
Carrying out routine maintenance of machines and equipment
Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and workshop facilities.
Preparing maintenance schedule for all the workshop equipment
Observing and ensuring health and safety procedures are practiced and enforced in the workshop.
Ensuring cleanliness of machines/equipment and orderly work areas

Minimum Requirements

Be a KNEC Diploma holder in Food Science Technology.
Must be below 45 years of age.
Minimum 2 years’ experience preferably in a TVET training institution.

In Compliance to article six {6} of the constitution of Kenya. all the applicants should provide:

Valid certificate of good conduct
Tax compliance certificate
HELB clearance
EACC compliance certificate
CRB Clearance certificate
