Enterprise Development Officer

The Enterprise Development Officer is responsible for providing broad – based technical and portfolio management support companies in the task of managing and monitoring the KCV portfolio companies.  S/ he is expected to support the Enterprise Development Manager in the execution of portfolio management activities  to ensure that implementation is on track.

Requirements.

The Enterprise Development Officer should have the following requirements and competencies:

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in one or more of the following areas: finance, agriculture, agribusiness, SME finance, renewable energy and adaptations tocombat climate change;
Minimum of two (3) years of experience in financial and portfolio management, with the ability to review, analyse and interpret budgets, financial management systems; financial statements (including balance sheets as well as income and expenditure, and cash flow statementsand audit reports;
Proven experience in coordinating portfolio with structured technical assistance and business development support to enterprises;
Proven experience in industry stakeholders’ management;
Experience in relevant KCV investment sectorsis preferred;
A good understanding of rural and/or financial services markets in Kenya;
Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to prepare reports and concept papers to a high level of proficiency;
Good interpersonal skills;
Possess excellentcommand of the English language skills both writing and
