Team Leader, Business Development- Insurance

JOB SUMMARY

We wish to advise that we have one (1) job opening for the position of Team Leader, Business Development – Insurance.

He/she will be tasked with developing and diversifying business so that income increases.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Business production and Marketing

KEY RESPOSIBILITIES

Developing growth strategies and plans
Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
Increasing client base
Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
Writing business proposals
Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements

QUALIFICATION

 

Degree in any Business Related Field
Diploma in Insurance (AIIK) will be an added advantage
Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance (COP)

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

High-level communication skills
Proven ability to negotiate
Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
Conflict resolution
The ability to self-motivate and motivate a team
Experience working to and exceeding targets

EXPERIENCE

4+ years’ experience.
